A microchip has a special number that can be scanned by your vet. If your cat ever gets lost, having them chipped really helps them find their way back home. To keep your kitty extra safe, I’ll stay on the microchip as a backup contact. You’ll still be their legal guardian, but if you can’t be reached, vets, pounds, or shelters can give us a call. It’s just an extra safety net to make sure your cat is always protected.
